The North West Department of Community Safety and Transport Management partnered with the Trans Kalahari Corridor (TKC) National Committee in intensifying road safety on the N4 road in the Ramotshere Moiloa.

The campaign is one of the October Transport Month Activities set to engage with motorists and road users to advocate for safer road usage along the corridor.

The road is mostly used by trucks who transit to Botswana and Namibia.

The Director for Corridor Development in the National Department of Transport, Mr Segodi Mogotsi called on road users to adhere to road rules and contribute on improving safety on the corridor.

The TKC is a road network spanning approximately 1900km across territories of Botswana, Namibia and South Africa.
